Adult Pottery Class
Art Institute & Gallery, 212 W. Main Street, Salisbury, Maryland (Runs through: 03/19/2012)
Class for all levels discusses where you want to take your pottery. Beginners will create simple cylinders on the wheel and turn them into mugs. Students will be guided to make beautiful functional ware or artistic non-functional forms depending on the individual. Decorate pieces with food safe/microwave safe under-glaze or glaze. Instructors Sarah Halcott & Robert Johnson.

Kids after School Pottery
Art Institute & Gallery, 212 W. Main Street, Salisbury, Maryland (Runs through: 03/19/2012)
Beginner projects will include animal sculptures, mugs, bowls, and instruments with an introduction to the potter's wheel. Advanced students will have more time on the wheel. Students are encouraged to explore their own imaginations, create projects, and work at their own speed. Students practice techniques including pinch, coil, slab and wheel throwing. Students will decorate with glaze or paint.Instructors Sarah Halcott & Robert Johnson.
