Newport Farms Diversity Walk

Location: Newport Farms near Berlin, MD
Cost: $25 per person
Saunter through old pines and oaks for some of the best forest species habitat on Delmarva. The 2,000-acre Newport Farms will reveal her secrets during this three-hour walk through private land protected with a conservation easement in 2002. A 50-acre shallow pond on the farm harbors nesting bald eagles, wood ducks, and wading birds.
Directions:
From Ocean City: Take Rt. 50 West or Rt. 90 West to Rt. 113 South. About 2 miles south of Berlin, turn left on Hayes Landing Road and follow to the end of the road. STOP at the circle at the end of the road and park in the cul-de-sac. A guide will meet you there.
From the South: Take Rt. 113 North towards Berlin. Turn right on Hayes Landing Road and follow to the end of the road. STOP at the circle at the end of the road and park in the cul-de-sac. A guide will meet you there.
