Night Birds of the Marsh

Time: 6:30-9 p.m. Location: E.A. Vaughn Wildlife Management Area Cost: $20 per person
Tour the E.A. Vaughn Wildlife Management Area near Girdletree, MD. Seek out least bitterns, rails, marsh wrens, and maybe even some owls. Bring a flashlight and boots or shoes you won't mind getting wet. Meet behind the Snow Hill Library.
Directions:
From Ocean City: Take Rt. 50 West to Rt. 113 South or Rt. 90 West to Rt. 113 South. Follow Rt. 113 South for approximately 17 miles to the exit for Snow Hill. Exit on Business Rt. 113 into Snow Hill to the traffic light. Turn right at the light onto Rt. 12 (Washington Street). Follow 2 blocks to Willow Street or River Street (both left-hand turns). You will pass the Library on the left. Parking is available behind or next to the Library off either of these streets.
From Points North & West: Take Rt. 50 East to Rt. 13 South to Md Rt. 12. Exit on Rt. 12 and take a left. Sign will indicate direction to Snow Hill. Stay on Rt. 12 all the way into Snow Hill. The Library is just past the Pocomoke River Bridge on the right. Turn left on River Street or Willow Street to park.
