Hardiness On Delmarva
According to the latest USDA hardiness map (see detail at left) Delmarva ranges from the following temperature zones based on the average of low temperature readings taken from regional weather stations.
There are many versions of the hardiness map. The USDA came out with the most recent version in 2007. When choosing plants use the zone you are in and watch for freeze warnings:
